Abby Grissom is a senior at WCU, graduating with a B.A. in Stage and Screen with a focus in scenic construction. She decided to audition for host this year because she has loved attending CCFF for the past three years and thought it would be fun to host with her friends for her final festival. She is incredibly excited to see the work of her peers on the big screen this spring.<\/p>\n

Devon West is a WNC local from Etowah, NC. He is in his 4th and final year at Western Carolina, graduating this coming May with a BA in Stage & Screen and a Minor in Parks and Recreation Management. He has extensive credits in both Theatre and Film: acting, writing, and scenic carpentry. If not working long days on set or in a theatre you will most likely find him outside, ideally skipping rocks!<\/p>\n

Ben Lyons is a 3rd year at WCU, concentrating in Screenwriting for the FTP program. After hosting the 2025 Controlled Chaos, he was eager to return to host again, considering he loves spreading joy and laughter through his whimsy. Jackson Donham has been at Western for 5 years and has been in the Film and Television production program for 4 years. His specialties are screenwriting, directing, and editing. Including writing 3 thesis films culminating with his Senior Thesis which he wrote and directed. He chose this year to be host of Controlled Chaos because, in his words, \u201cwhen else am I gonna get the chance.\u201d In all seriousness Jackson has seen many Controlled Chaos film festivals and has seen many hosts take the stage. All of those times he never saw himself as a potential host but figured with this being his last semester there was no harm in taking one last try in it. To his delight he will join his beloved cast of hosts this year.<\/p>\n
